diverse environment, meeting everyone who calls and comes in the door and
taking care of all the guys she works with. She loves her job and her coworkers,
and it shows.
When she's not holding down the fort at Digital Base, she enjoys camping, boating, fishing, BBQs, country & western dancing and being with friends and family. She surrounds herself with her two wonderful children, five gorgeous grandchildren and several close friends.
Cindy's words of advice: "When you have the chance to sit it out or dance, I hope you dance!"

Garrett Raible - Telephony Producer, Digitizer, enigma

Garrett Raible was born on August 1st 1983, and was raised in a house
full of hate and violence. At the age of 13 he dropped out of school
after realizing that he was indeed "too cool for school" and soon
after he joined a ninja clan.
After mastering such techniques as the "Driving Miss Daisy" and "The Widow Maker" he set out on his own quest, eventually ending up in Lubbock TX. After a few odd jobs he landed a gig here at Digital Base Productions.
For the past 6 years he has worked in a cave at the back of the building, just waiting for the right time to strike down the rest of his "co-workers"...
Garrett's wild claim: "Garrett is faster than 80% of all snakes."

never been unloved by the one who just gave him his last heart beat and
last breath.
"Do one thing at a time, do it well and move on."

Jordan Polk - Multimedia, Audio Producer & Duplication

Jordan's been working for Digital Base since 1999, and has handled telephony, commercial and music projects in all three audio studios. He mostly works in multimedia and duplication / replication now, but can be seen occassionally hauling gear on video shoots. He spends his free time playing drums, reading and hanging out with his family.
Jordan likes this quote: "A human being should be able to change a diaper, plan an invasion, butcher a hog, conn a ship, design a building, write a sonnet, balance accounts, build a wall, set a bone, comfort the dying, take orders, give orders, cooperate, act alone, solve equations, analyze a new problem, pitch manure, program a computer, cook a tasty meal, fight efficiently, die gallantly. Specialization is for insects." - Robert Heinlein

Austin Jones - Video Producer

Austin Jones was born with a passion for video and computers. From a young
age, he wasted miles of tape with the family's Hi-8 video camera, shooting
everything that moved. He was also keen to tinker with anything donated
to his electronic pile. Many machines, including Betamax decks and IBM
286s, met early fates, as he learned "how things work."
Austin chose to attend Texas Tech University and received a bachelor's degree in Telecommunications with a minor in Management in 2003. While in college he learned about new online media and web design.
After graduating, Austin joined the ranks of a local advertising agency where he shot, produced and edited TV commercials for numerous clients, as well as designing database-driven websites.
In March 2006, Austin came on board at Digital Base Productions in the Video Department, where he continues to practice his art via shooting, editing, and motion graphics. He is married to his beautiful wife Kim, and plays drums weekly in praise and worship band.
Austin's words: "There is nothing worse than a brilliant image of a fuzzy concept." --Ansel Adams

Matt Wideman - Video Producer

Matt Wideman is a born and bred Texan, but doesn't own a pair of boots.
With almost 20 years of experience in video and audio production, he
truly understands what it takes to get the job done.
Whether in the field shooting, in the edit bay or directing, Matt puts his experience and artful eye into everything he does. From the early stages of developing a concept, to scouting the perfect location, to planning and executing the ultimate shot, Matt brings the confidence and know-how to accomplish even the most ambitious of projects.
A sense of humor is a must when dealing with high pressure situations, and Matt always brings a laugh or two along just in case.
Matt says: "You're right, I SHOULD be ashamed of myself."

Mike Gibson - Video Producer

Mike has been with Digital Base for approximately 9 years, working in
videography, photography and editing. He enjoys facing new challenges everyday
and working with diverse clientele. In his long career, Mike
has been exposed to a variety of situations and equipment that have pushed
him to constantly evolve and adapt in a professional capacity.
When he isn't working, Mike enjoys making old things new again. He's overhauled at least 20 automobile engines, one transmission, and has maintained his own cars for over 33 years. Mike also enjoys serving his church in the multimedia realm, specifically as sound technician. And of course, he loves spending time with friends and family.
Coming from Mike: "Be patient, the Earth is in no rush. Plan ahead and help yourself and us as well. The outcome will be better for it."

Candice Merritt - Administrative Assistant

Candice Merritt has been with Digital Base since 2007, and
her responsibilities include answering phones, filing papers and the
occasional saving of lives. She particularly enjoys the fun atmosphere
and "free
munchies", and she includes a smiley face after that answer. She's interested
in staying with Digital Base until she gets what she calls "a real job",
which is sort of sad because we like her.
She says her most endearing quality is her "charming personality", but caps the response with "haha", which is probably sarcasm (another of her endearing qualities). She's almost done with her second year at Texas Tech University, and enjoys hanging out with her family (especially her niece), her roommates and friends. She claims to have "sweet nunchuck skills", and also plays piano and harp proficiently.
Quoting Candice: "You can't help everyone everywhere, but you can help someone somewhere."
